On Tuesday, 7 October 2014, at night at 23:53, in Vilnius, on Architektų street near No. 104, an Audi A6 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.15‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
