On Saturday, 11 October 2014, in the afternoon at 13:54, in Panevėžys, on Vilniaus street near No. 36, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 6 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Mazda (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.45‰ blood alcohol).
