On Saturday, 18 October 2014, in the evening at 20:23, in Telšių district municipality, on Luokės street near No. 9, at the junction with Tryškių street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Renault Megane Scenic and a Toyota Corolla. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Renault (42 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
