On Friday, 17 October 2014, in the evening at around 18:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, Krekenavos town, on Laisvės street near No. 9, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
