On Monday, 20 October 2014, in the evening at 20:30, in Kaunas, on Ašigalio street near No. 32, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a DAF FA 95XF.430, a Mercedes-Benz and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the DAF (18 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 10 km/h.
