On Friday, 31 October 2014, in the afternoon at 12:55, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Meškiai–Bubių vandens saugykla regional road, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and a Volkswagen Golf. Two people were injured — a 29-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient) and the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient).
