On Saturday, 1 November 2014, in the afternoon at 14:41, in Panevėžys, on Sietyno street, at the junction with Naujamiesčio street, a Mercedes-Benz E220 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.80‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
