On Sunday, 12 October 2014, in the afternoon at 12:15, in Kupiškio district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 38, an Opel Vectra ran off the road. One person was injured — a 17-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.53‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
