On Wednesday, 5 November 2014, in the afternoon at 15:27, in Klaipėda, on Jūrininkų pr., at the junction with Bandužių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. Two people were injured — a 62-year-old passenger of the Mercedes-Benz (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 60-year-old passenger of the Mercedes-Benz (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 79-year-old driver of the VAZ (34 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
