On Wednesday, 5 November 2014, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilnius, on Buivydiškių street, at the junction with Ozo street, a BMW 320I hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 54-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
