On Friday, 7 November 2014, in the evening at around 20:00, in Vilnius, on Žirmūnų street near No. 87, a Hyundai i40 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 22-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Hyundai (17 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
