On Saturday, 8 November 2014, at night at 4:11, in Vilnius, on Kalvarijų street near No. 21, at the junction with Lvovo, a BMW 530 D hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 24-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized) and a 24-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. A 24-year-old pedestrian was drunk (1.23‰).
