On Saturday, 8 November 2014, in the evening at 18:56, in Vilniaus district municipality, Marijampolio village, on Liepų street near No. 19, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Probe, a Honda Accord and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.98‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
