On Saturday, 15 November 2014, at night at around 2:00, in Kaunas, on Kurpių street near No. 29, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Seat Alhambra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
