On Wednesday, 19 November 2014, in the evening at 21:20, in Alytus, on Jaunimo street near No. 48, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Nissan X-Trail. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
