On Friday, 21 November 2014, in the evening at around 22:00, in Skuodo district municipality, on the Skuodas–Plungė national road (kilometre 10.80), a Peugeot 306 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Peugeot (14 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.91‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
