Drunk Opel driver in crash with Chrysler on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Saturday, 22 November 2014, in the morning at 10:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 104.80), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Chrysler Voyager. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Opel (25 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk.
