On Sunday, 23 November 2014, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kaunas, on Radvilėnų pl., at the junction with Vydūno al., a Mercedes-Benz E280 CDI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
