On Saturday, 29 November 2014, in the afternoon at 15:26, in Vilnius, on Želvos street near No. 17, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Colt and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (2 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
