On Monday, 1 December 2014, in the morning at 7:22, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street near No. 7, at the junction with Šeškinės Sodų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo XC60 and a Subaru Impreza. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Volvo (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
