Audi hits a pedestrian at a crossing at Gariūnų g. and Jočionių g., Vilnius
On Tuesday, 2 December 2014, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Vilnius, on Gariūnų street, at the junction with Jočionių street, an Audi 80 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 33-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Audi (30 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
