On Wednesday, 3 December 2014, in the evening at around 18:00, in Klaipėda, on Statybininkų pr. near No. 6, an Audi 100 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person died — a 65-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene.
