On Thursday, 4 December 2014, in the morning at 6:52, in Rietavo municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė national road (kilometre 80.50), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Carisma and a Volkswagen Caddy. No one was hurt in the accident.
