On Saturday, 6 December 2014, in the afternoon at 12:11, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Pilaitė–Čekoniškės–Sudervė regional road (kilometre 8.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
