On Saturday, 6 December 2014, in the evening at 21:26, in Vilnius, on Dūkštų street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris and a Volkswagen Transporter registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
