On Tuesday, 9 December 2014, in the evening at 17:08, in Pasvalio district municipality, on Vytauto street, at the junction with J. Stapulionio street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and a Rover 200. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (3.26‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
