On Saturday, 13 December 2014, in the morning at 5:28, in Klaipėda, on Pamario street, at the junction with Šlaito street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.55‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
