On Monday, 15 December 2014, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, Gruzdžių town, on F. Vaitkaus street near No. 7, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xantia and a BMW 318. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to keep a safe distance.
