On Friday, 26 December 2014, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Alytus, on Žuvinto street, a Toyota Yaris hit two pedestrians at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Toyota (17 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. She fled the scene. The driver was sober.
