On Friday, 26 December 2014, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on H. ir O. Minkovskių street, at the junction with Prietilčio street, a BMW 525 TDS hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
