On Monday, 29 December 2014, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 62, an Audi A4 Avant hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 16-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized) and a 18-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
