On Saturday, 3 January 2015, in the morning at 8:30, in Biržų district municipality, on S. Nėries street, at the junction with Pasvalio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S60 and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Volvo (a citizen of Latvia) (24 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
