On Wednesday, 7 January 2015, in the afternoon at 15:56, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 41.70), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.57‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
