On Thursday, 8 January 2015, in the evening at 18:10, in Šilutės district municipality, on Lietuvininkų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (2.41‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
