On Sunday, 11 January 2015, in the afternoon at 11:30, in Panevėžys, on A. Mackevičiaus street, at the junction with K. Donelaičio street, a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered.
