On Thursday, 15 January 2015, in the morning at around 7:00, in Prienų district municipality, on the Balbieriškis–Jiestrakis–Plutiškės regional road (kilometre 17.40), a Volkswagen Sharan rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence.
