On Friday, 9 January 2015, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road (kilometre 41), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323, an Audi A6 and a Nissan Almera. Two people were injured — the 25-year-old driver of the Mazda (hospitalized) and the 55-year-old driver of the Nissan (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mazda (5 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. All drivers were sober.
