On Monday, 19 January 2015, in the afternoon at 16:27, in Vilnius, on Kirtimų street near No. 51, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a DAF FA 95XF.380, a Sawo SL240 and a MAN TGL 8.150. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the DAF (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
