On Thursday, 22 January 2015, in the evening at 20:42, in Marijampolės municipality, on Mokolų street, at the junction with R. Juknevičiaus street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Honda Jazz and a BMW 525. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Honda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
