On Saturday, 24 January 2015, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kaunas, on Marvelės street near No. 132, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi Cabriolet and a Land Rover Range Rover Sport. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
