On Monday, 26 January 2015, in the afternoon at 15:54, in Vilnius, on Antakalnio street, at the junction with P. Širvio street, a Mazda 626 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Mazda (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.33‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
