On Sunday, 1 February 2015, at night at 0:23, in Kaunas, on A. Kačanausko street near No. 11, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM, a Honda Civic, a Volkswagen Golf, a BMW 530 and a Ford Focus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
