On Friday, 6 February 2015, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr. near No. 71A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Saturn SL and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Saturn (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
