On Friday, 6 February 2015, in the evening at 18:50, in Kaunas, on K. Petrausko street, at the junction with Aukštaičių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Almera Tino and a BMW 525. One person was injured — a 26-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Nissan (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
