On Wednesday, 11 February 2015, in the evening at 20:54, in Šiaulių district municipality, on L. Ivinskio a. near No. 3, an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.46‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
