On Tuesday, 17 February 2015, in the afternoon at 13:34, in Prienų district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 28, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Volkswagen Transporter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Audi (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
