Driver flees after hitting a pedestrian at a crossing at Rinktinės g. and Šeimyniškių g., Vilnius

On Thursday, 19 February 2015, in the afternoon at 12:43, in Vilnius, on Rinktinės street, at the junction with Šeimyniškių street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 21-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
