On Tuesday, 24 February 2015, in the morning at 8:11, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 9, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Toyota Corolla Verso and a Seat Alhambra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
