On Saturday, 28 February 2015, in the evening at 18:01, in Panevėžys, on V. Alanto street, at the junction with J. Tilvyčio street, a Dacia Logan hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Dacia (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.69‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
