On Wednesday, 4 March 2015, in the evening at 18:50, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 92.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 307, a Berger Sapl 24 and a DAF CF 85.380. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Peugeot (24 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
